LeBlanc Associates Ltd. is a small business enterprise specializing in structural engineering services associated with heavy marine and hydraulic structures, such as port facilities, levees, flood walls and gates, pump stations, and similar structures.

Mr. Larry A. LeBlanc, P.E. formed the firm in 1997, in order to offer the experience gained during his many years in the field to a wider range of projects, owners, and other consultants.

Mr. LeBlanc's experience is broad-based and is national and international in scope. However, the bulk of that experience is based in Louisiana and with emphasis in flood protection and marine projects.

This experience includes the design of numerous types of flood walls, flood gates and levees for the Corps of Engineers, the Port of New Orleans, and several other clients. A major erosion control project was completed over an eight year program for the Yazoo River Basin in Mississippi in conjunction with the Corps of Engineers, the NRCS, and other local entities.

Mr. LeBlanc participated in the major development of the Mississippi River Industrial Corridor that occurred in a three decade period by designing dock facilities of various types for industries along the River. He played a major role on most facilities constructed by the Greater Baton Rouge Port Commission. More recently, he has been heavily involved in projects at the Port of Lake Charles.

One of the firm's specialties is the design of elevated structures in Louisiana flood prone areas for use by the oil and gas, communications, power, and various other entities. Clients include ExxonMobile, Bois d'Arc Energy, ENI Petroleum, Shell, Cameron Communications Corporation, Kaplan Telecommunications Company, and many others.

The firm has participated in storm recovery efforts, having made damage assessments for residential, industrial, marine, municipal, and other structures. We have completed special training in FEMA Coastal Construction Standards, and in the design of structures for high wind loads.

The firm has the physical resources and personnel base to undertake any size project.
